It’s Not a Bird, It’s Not a Plane, It’s a Flying Boat to Debut at TIBS

On November 6, ENVGO gave media a sneak preview and in-water demonstration of the NV1 at Toronto's Harbourfront marina, showcasing its quiet, smooth, wave-free flight experience ahead of the boat's official North American debut. The NV1 will formally launch at the 2026 Toronto International Boat Show, running January 17–25 at the Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place — Canada's largest marine industry and consumer show, with tickets going on sale Black Friday, November 26. The Waterloo-based company raised $2M USD in seed funding in June 2025 to scale NV1 production, drawing on expertise in aerospace engineering, robotics, and AI-powered autonomy. Beyond the NV1 itself, ENVGO is also building an industry partnership program offering licensable technology to help traditional boat manufacturers transition to electric propulsion.
