ENVGO showcased the only hydrofoiling boat at the Toronto International Boat Show

ENVGO unveiled its NV1 electric hydrofoiling cruiser at the Toronto International Boat Show, marking its North American debut and being presented as Canada’s first boat of its kind. The production-ready, aerospace-engineered vessel uses hydrofoils, AI-assisted controls, and an electric drivetrain to lift above the water, reducing drag and significantly improving speed, range, and efficiency compared to traditional electric boats.

Founded by former Aeryon Labs engineers, including CEO Mike Peasgood, the company draws on drone and aerospace expertise to push marine innovation forward, positioning the NV1 as a step-change in clean, high-performance boating for early adopters. The launch attracted strong attention at the show, including a visit from Ontario Premier Doug Ford, and was previewed by journalist Andy Adams, with the NV1 featured on the cover of Canadian Boating magazine and widely showcased throughout the event.
